How do I clean the probe between patients?
Alcohol-based germicides may damage the flexible Ultrasound transducer surface; approved alcohol-free products are advised. PDI, the manufacturer of Sani-Cloth, offers a line of clinic-approved disposable wipes for diagnostic equipment. The Prometheus Group® recommends Tristel Duo ULT or Sani-Cloth® AF-3 disposable wipe for cleaning the Ultrasound transducer’s surface.

For facilities requiring high-level disinfection, Tristel ULT™ delivers a powerful solution. This ready-to-use foam, when paired with Tristel ULT™ wipes, provides effective disinfection with just a 2-minute contact time. A nice alternative to other system-based methods.
