Ramona C. Horton, MPT, DPT, completed her graduate training in the US Army–Baylor University Program in Physical Therapy in San Antonio, Texas in 1985. She applied her experience with the military orthopedic population in the civilian sector while expanding on a growing interest in the field of pelvic dysfunction.

In 2007, she began developing and instructing visceral and fascial mobilization courses, presenting at local, national, and international venues. Publications include material on the efficacy of visceral mobilization as a treatment for pelvic dysfunction and physical therapy interventions for chronic testicular pain.

Currently, she serves as the lead therapist for the Asante Rehabilitation Service pelvic dysfunction program in Medford, Oregon, where her practice is limited to the treatment of men, women, and children with urological, gynecological, and colorectal issues. Ramona was recently recognized as the 2020 Elizabeth Noble Award recipient by the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health. She has presented on rehabilitative ultrasound imaging at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting and is the developer of the EchoGen Portal, a training program for the operation and clinical use of the Pathway® Ultrasound Imaging System for Lumbopelvic Rehabilitation.
